BCSE Factbook: Sustainable energy transforming America’s energy mix
American wind power is helping the transition to cleaner, more sustainable, low-cost sources of electricity in the U.S. energy mix, according to a new report out today.
The Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) and Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) released their 2016 Sustainable Energy in America Factbook, showing American energy productivity has increased by 13 percent from 2007 to 2015. The Factbook also showed retail electric rates have fallen 1.3 percent in real terms between 2014 and 2015.
