Pam Poisson
Pam guides her team to keep ACP in good working order through processes, tools, and talent that help us better serve our members and mission. She draws upon 20 years of corporate experience and 11 in not-for-profit to help ACP be efficient and effective. Pam and her team guide financial, HR, and technology strategy and execution, as well as operating policies, compliance, risk management, facilities, and governance. A summa cum laude graduate of AU’s Kogod College of Business, Pam came to AWEA from Freddie Mac in 2010, first serving as CFO and then in a broader role as SVP of Operations, and with AWEA’s 2021 merger into ACP carries that role forward in our growing association. An active member of ASAE and the Finance and Administration Roundtable, she also serves on the board of RePowering Schools and AWWI’s Finance Committee, and chairs the Endowment Committee of Leesburg Presbyterian Church. Pam originally hails from southern NJ, where frequent drives by the Atlantic City wind turbines spurred her interest in renewables. A Toastmasters “Competent Communicator” and certified Virginia Master Naturalist, she enjoys public speaking, especially about the benefits of renewable energy!
