Elesha Peterson Carr

Sr. Director, Conference Planning & Event Logistics

As Senior Director, Conference Planning & Event Logistics, Elesha oversees site selection and conference logistics for ACP’s small and mid-sized event portfolio. She also leads the event sustainability program, community service project and several special events at ACP’s CLEANPOWER annual conference. She holds an MBA with an emphasis in social responsibility and a BA in political science. She volunteers on the internal ACP Green Team and Jedi Council focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion. Elesha co-owned a catering business in her home state of South Dakota prior to starting at AWEA in August of 2007.
