Aaron is currently the Sr. Director of Federal Affairs. In this role he serves as the staff liaison to ACP’s Federal Affairs Committee and covers a range of issues as one of ACP’s primary federal lobbyists, with a focus on tax and transmission policy. Throughout his tenure at AWEA and ACP, Aaron has played an instrumental role in securing important legislative victories with respect to energy and tax policy, federal appropriations for wind energy, and siting and wildlife issues. Prior to joining AWEA, Aaron worked as a Legislative Assistant for then-U.S. Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND). He advised the senator on energy, energy tax, environmental, and public lands issues. Prior to working as a congressional staffer, he worked as a research assistant at Resources for the Future, a non-partisan energy and environmental think tank in Washington, DC. Aaron holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Grinnell College. He resides in Washington, DC with his wife, son, and daughter.
